Savillex molded PFA jars are widely used for the secure collection, storage, archival or disposition of a wide variety of solutions or solids. The seamless design, radiused interior corners, and a generous wide-mouth opening allow for the easy transfer and removal of entire contents. Our proprietary PFA molding process produces a container with strong rigid walls, which will keep contents secure and stable, while the translucent finish ensures that material is visible within the jar. Savillex molded PFA vials are widely used in the preparation and storage of a variety of samples for sensitive analyses. The flat exterior surface and high service temperature range of Savillex PFA vials make them ideal for use directly on a hot plate, and the inert properties of PFA allow for the most rigorous acidic sample preparations without fear of comprising or adulterating the original sample material. The vial interior is designed to maximize recovery of the sample from inside of the vial. Savillex PFA vials are the best choice for trace level analyses under the most demanding applications
Closures are molded PFA and are designed to fit Savillex jars. We carry several standard compatible closures for each of our jars. Transfer closures come complete with ferrule nuts on the tube ports. A wrench set is also recommended to ensure the tightest fit and best seal.
Column vessels and segments are designed to withstand up to 75 psi (wrench tightening required) and can be assembled for use in distilling, impinging, gas scrubbing, liquid vapor traps, or for the transfer and handling of difficult solutions.
Savillex offers pre-assembled filtration units in our most popular configurations for your in-line filtration requirements. Filter membranes for these assemblies may be changed without disconnecting external lines.
Savillex impingers are molded PFA and designed for the collection of airborne hazards into a liquid medium. Unlike glass impingers, they are unbreakable and inert to virtually all chemical compounds. Savillex impingers come with a dual ported closure, and attached ferrule nuts for securing the sample collection tubing.
Savillex microcolumns are designed for ion-exchange analysis. Savillex molded PFA microcolumns come in a variety of reservoir and capillary combinations to fit your needs. Threaded microcolumns may also be used with a closure for added sample integrity and protection, and porous PTFE frits are available for most microcolumns
Savillex pressure vessels are heavy-walled, PFA containers designed to accomodate larger volumes of material in high temperature and pressure applications. These containers can also be used to transfer large quantities of chemicals, or they can be utilized with our column components for a variety of other applications.
